Am I doing this therapy thing right?

It’s hard to do therapy the totally right or wrong way. If you are doing your best to be present physically and mentally, then you are doing what is needed. Once your goals are identified, your therapist will be keeping tabs on the progress being made. It is also likely that you will start to notice patterns and differences as treatment continues. You and your clinician will collaborate as needed to adjust strategies and goals toward improved mental and emotional wellbeing.
